BLACK-RIVERSIDE MARKETPLACE, PORT OF MANAUS

The Port of Manaus, opened in 1907, is considered the most original of Brazil. Built on a floating pier, follows the water level of the Rio Negro, in times of great floods. The port became the main point of interest at the time and received luxury ships of Lamport, of Boat Line and others. Also leave the port of Manaus vessels with rubber, nuts, timber, export products of the season. The Port of Manaus had its structure to receive tourists recently reformed. Besides serving for loading and unloading of passengers and goods going to and from the cities in the state, receives large transatlantic tourists from various parts of the world.
