An embodiment of Parisian skill and grace, the Eiffel Tower is the global icon of Paris today.

Located on Champ de Mars and standing at a whopping height of 1063 ft, the tower crowns the Paris night sky with its festive light. Though its designer, Gustav Eiffel was criticised for the monuments bold, unusual shape, he is now remembered as one of the most talented architects of all.

This former royal palace contains the world's largest and most diverse collection of painting, sculpture, and decorative objects, not forgetting the Mona Lisa and the Venus de Milo, bask in the works of Vermeer, Caravaggio, Rembrandt, and countless others. Situated between the river Seine and Rue de Rivoli, its central courtyard is occupied by the Louvre glass pyramid, a beautifully designed masterpiece which will spellbind you.......

In the past, the gothic loftiness of the Cathedral reflected Paris' status as the capital of the Kingdom France. Today it is the religious centre of Paris. The west front of the cathedral is one of its most notable features, with its two 228-feet tall towers. The South Tower houses the cathedral's famous bell, "Emmanuel",which weighs over 28,000 pounds.

The 164-foot Arc- deTriomphe commissioned by Emperor Napolon I, honours those who fought and died for France in the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars. The arc is located at the end of the ChampsElyes in the middle of a large circular square . Underneath the arc is the tomb of an unknown soldier from World War I.
