The Shadonn J. Jenkins is open to any age. It is open to all vocalist (singers) who are not
professionallly represented (under management).

APPLICATIONS____________________________________________
Please use the application form included with this booklet, and submit it with the following
materials:

A GOOD QUALITY AUDIO CASSETTE or CD demonstrating the applicant's vocal skill.

Applicant must include two selections on the tape. The selections should be:
1. A song or solo from the light opera repertoire, showing style
2. An aria from opera or oratorio, showing technique
Selections must be well-recorded and clear. A poor recording will be rejected.

A recent photograph (8 x 10 preferred, 4 x 6 acceptable)

A check for $35.00 made out to The Shadonn J. Jenkins Musical Conservatory, as an
audition/application

All submissions must be received (postmarked) by: February 17, 2014. Late or incomplete
applications will not be considered. Contestants' recordings will be adjudicated, and
contestants will be notified by mail, email if they desire, if they have been accepted for the
semi-final rounds by February 29, 2014. Audition times are assigned on a first-come, first
served basis.

PURPOSE_________________________________________________
We are someone who truly loves the power and understanding of the world of music. With are
Founder and President starting from a young age of 6 being a Master musician for churches to
special occasions and services, the lord Jesus Christ has totally transformed him so he can
operate totally in his musical and prophetic anointing. Music is how we get through our
personal trials and tribulations that we may battle with or come upon with in this everyday life.
And so being positive and centered leaders for our students, and our Founder and President
being a young man coming from the underprivileged areas in the City of Detroit, We boldly
choose to help other men and women that's battling or either are balanced in similar realms of
challenges and talents as we are, teaching and allowing them to express themselves righteously
through God to climb their life destined pyramid, where there awaits for them gracious
opportunities going along the way.

OTHER CONTESTANT WILL CHOOSE/OR IF THEY HAVE THE SAME MUSIC SELECTION AS
YOURS. AT THE END OF THE DAY.. THE COMPETITION WILL END BASED ON YOUR
PRESENTATION OF PERFORMANCE AND HOW WELL YOU SOLD YOUR PERFORMANCE.
