Dear Parents, As a student teacher, I am not only working alongside Miss Stag, over the course of the next few months, but a small cluster of other Rider University student teachers as well. As we strive to develop new and innovative teaching strategies to use when working with your children, I am asking for your permission to record videos of the lessons I will be teaching in class. Students will not be the ones recorded. Instead, the videos would focus on me as I teach the students select lesson. These videos will be used solely for professional development reasons, and will, therefore, only be viewed by administrators, teachers and student teachers looking to learn and improve upon their own teaching methods and philosophies.
