A Review on Letter Writing in the Arabic Literature and Its Influence on the Persian Style

Abstract
This article considers the quality and the history of correspondence in Arabic language. It
discusses the brief and simple style of correspondence in the early ages of Islam, the lengthy
and the coherent style of Umavi era, and the ornate, pedantic prose in Abbsi era. This article
discusses the history of Iranian correspondence and the influence of Arabic letters in Persian
letters and especially the effect of Abd-ul Hamid Ktibs style on the style of Atabat-ul Katabah.
This article; also, explains the life of Montajabuddin Badi the writer of Atabat-ul Katabah and his
relations with the contemporary nobles and scholars. The article explains the importance, the style,
and the genre of Atabat-ul Katabah, the formal and the informal letters of this book, and finally the
manuscripts and the method used to edit the book.

Abstract
The traditional-modern dictionary of Almuajamul Vasit was published by cooperation of
the Arabic Language Academy of Cairo and a specialized committee in 1960; base on the
etymological-radical method in two volumes. This article tries to describe this dictionary as a
well-known dictionary for the benefit of researchers, teachers, and students of Arabic language
and provide an account of the technical position of this dictionary compared with the dictionaries
before and after it. The article also aims to report the extent of the popularity of this dictionary in
comparison to the other ones.

Layli Al-Akhyaliyyah; the Elegist Woman Poet of Umayyah Era

Abstract
Layli Al-Akhyaliyyah, one of the greatest woman poets during the Umayyah era, spent some of
her life during Orthodox Caliphs (Al-Khulafa Al-Rashedun) era and the rest of her life in Umayyah
era; however, most of her writings and poems are about Umayyah era. She is a (Mokhazram)
virtuous poet that most of the poems of her Divan are composed in elegy and panegyric. Her
poems are mostly about her beloved Tawbat ibn Al-Homayyir, to whom she remained loyal all
her life, without leaving Islams framework. Layli is a strong poet with deep feeling and unique
style. She has tried her talent in many poetic genres; her main style is paganism (Jaheli) but she
occasionally has used Islamic concepts and words in her poems.

The Comparative analyses of sayings of abul ghsim nasrbdi, the theosophist of the

In this article a method is introduced that accordingly we can find out the style of the past
translators. Here, the Arabic and Persian sayings of Abulqssim Nasr bdi (the mystic of 4th c.
Hijri) are selected as the samples of the comparative translation. Two points are made here: first,
the fact that Nasr bdi has used Arabic language as his own mystical language; second, Tazkiratul Awliy is the translation of the mystical sayings which Att r has gathered and translated.

This article tends to analyze The impediments of learning the Arabic language in high schools
from the viewpoint of students and teachers. 12000 high school girls in the 4th district of Tehran are
the statistics sample of this research. The numbers of the students and the teachers estimated by
means of the Morgan Table are respectfully 380 and 88.
The info gathering process was done through the questionnaires made by the researcher,
consisting of 39 5-choice questions and after analyzing the data the following conclusions were
made:
The progress of the students in learning the Arabic language as dependent
variable is related to the independent variables such as: the interest of the
students, the family condition of the students, the teachers field, the emotional
relations of the teachers and the students, the teachers function in teaching
Arabic language, the teachers use of the teaching facilities, the geographical
location of the school, and the schools programming and the contents of the
Arabic textbooks.

Abstract
Romanticism and Realism have had the greatest impact on the fictional literature in Egypt. These
two schools have led to pessimism, hopelessness, and feeling of absurdity, in Egyptian fictional
literature. Manfaluti, the contemporary novelist has been greatly influenced by Romantic literature
and this has resulted in the emergence of pessimism, despair, and absurdity in his works.
Misery, poverty, starvation, and hardship of life along with his imprisonment pushed Manfaluti to
Romanticism; the literature that is abundant of grief, pain and cry. Under the influence of Romantic
literature, Manfaluti entered pessimism, grief and cry literature into his novels; hence, pessimism
became the underlying theme of his novels. Due to composing an abusive ode against Khadivi
Abbas, Manfaluti was imprisoned for six months. The prison period had a negative impact on his life
and caused his disgust and hatred against politics and politicians. His tendency to sentimentality
led him to accept the most pessimistic views and insights toward humanity. For him, life was a
weeping house and to escape from it he took shelter in his imagination.
