Nine little teddies all in a row Waiting to be cuddled by you Wearing their bright red waistcoats Brown eyes gently dreaming Their bright golden fur Soft to the touch Brings you near Reach out Smile! Laugh Laughter Laughing bears Playful teddies All nine are awake With a cheer then a shout Theyll jump, run about, and sing To all the teddies everywhere To all the teddies whove lost their hair! Theyve all been cuddled for so many years Their fur is all gone, but theyre not forlorn They give all their love when theres heartache and tears Though waistcoats are faded and some even torn Theyll be by your side when you sleep in your bed And when you wake up, you know theyll be there With a wink and a nod and a shake of the head Theres nothing as good as an old teddy bear!
