Study Abstract
Thesis Title:
The concept of plastic media at Pop Artists and its impact
on the three dimensional artwork. This research aims to
observe the main plastic media and the plastic and
expressional values attached for the formulation of the
three dimensional artwork with pop art and the creation
sculptures that depend on the aesthetic concepts
attached to them.

The study contained four chapters that are organized in

the following manner:

Chapter One: Subject of the Thesis:

This chapter contains a presentation of the thesis
introduction, the thesis problem, its objectives and
assumptions and its importance and limitations, and the
methodology used to handle the subject of the study from
its different aspects. It also contains definitions of the
terms mentioned in the research. Finally, it contains
studies related to the subject of the study.

Chapter two: The Concepts Intellectual and

Phylosipical for the Pop art and the most
important Factors that helps to enesit:
In this chapter, the researcher shed light on concept of
pop art and the factors that led to the appearance of pop
art, i.e. the political, economical and social factors, and
presents the philosophy of pop and the ideological
concepts of some of the philosophies of its era, such as
the philosophy of existentialism and the ideological
structure for it, and the philosophy of novelty and beyond,
as a precursor for the philosophies of pop.

Chapter Three: Analytical Study for Pop art

impact on Sculpture multimedia:
In this chapter the researcher has explained the effect of
pop art on the concepts of sculpture. She has also made
an analytical presentation for a selection of sculptural
works for pop artists aimed to study the plastic media and
formational and expressional values attached to them.
This is followed by a presentation of the results of
analysing these works.

Chapter Four: Research Applications:

The researcher has undertaken an application of a group

of sculptural forms depending on the multiplicity of plastic
media, in what befits the subject of the three dimensional
form, and the expressional formative values attached to

the plastic media of the three dimensional form. Theses

applications were aimed to introduce innovative three
dimensional forms related to the aesthetic concepts of pop
art, seeking with the results of the analysis that was
aimed at observation of the plastic media and the
formative and expressional values attached to them. This
is followed by a presentation of the results and the
recommendations of the research study.
