Kidnapping n.:
Carrying a person away, without his consent, by means of force,
threats, or fraud. Kidnapping is a common-law offence punishable with a
maximum sentence of life imprisonment. A man may be guilty of
kidnapping his wife. Disputes between parents about the right to their
children are dealt with in family proceedings. A parent with care of the child
may obtain a warrant for the arrest of the other parent if he or she takes the
child away. Failure to comply with an order for the return of the child
amounts to contempt of court(1).

Verschleppung:
(1) Wer einen anderen durch List, Drohung oder Gewalt in ein Gebiet
auBerhalb des raumlichen Geltungsbereichs dieses Gesetzes verbringt oder
veranlaBt, sich dorthin zu begeben, oder davon abhalt, von dort zuruckzukehren,
und dadurch der Gefahr aussetzt, aus politischen Grunden verfolgt zu warden und
hierbei im Widerspruch zu rechtsstaatlichen Grundsatzen durch Gewalt-order
Willkur-maBnahmen Schaden an Leib oder Leben zu erleiden, der Freiheit beraubt
oder in seiner beruflichen oder wirtschaftlichen Stellung empfindich be-eintrachtigt
zu warden, wird mit Freiheitsstrafe nicht unter einem Jahr bestraft (2).
(2) In minder schweren Fallen ist die Strafe Freiheitsstrafe von drei Monaten
bis zu funf Jahren.
