ECI Telecom's XDM-900 is a future-proof AllNative (Ethernet/TDM) multiservice packet optical transport platform optimized for high capacity nodes in the metro and metro-core networks. With native handling of both Ethernet/MPLS-TP and TDM, it enables costeffective network expansion and smooth migration to next generation packet based transport networks. The XDM-900 provides up to 300 Gb native Ethernet with MPLS-TP processsing power as well as multi-ADM-64 functionality with a 120 Gb TDM switching matrix. It offers best-of-breed capabilities and built-in ASON control support for enhanced protection and restoration. By supporting the most advanced carrier class Ethernet-based services (L1, L2, MPLSTP, Ethernet/MPLS-TP over SDH), the XDM900 is well positioned to support cellular backhaul transition/migration plans from TDM to packet and support full triple play services for residential NGN applications at a low TCO. The XDM-900 lets you preserve your existing network structure and working procedures as you shift seamlessly towards packetbased services, saving substantially on OPEX. As with all ECIs transport products, the XDM-900 is managed by the LightSoft NMS.
