Indications and Dosage :

Infection Community Acquired Pneumonia, Acute Exacerbation of Chronic Bronchitis, Pharyngitis, Acute Sinusitis, Otitis Media, Tonsilitis, Impetigo, Cellulitis, Abscess Typhoid Fever Infectious Diarrhoea Urethritis, Gonorrhea Dosage Schedule Adult : 500mg once daily for 3 days Child : 10mg/kg once daily for 3 days 1g on day 1, then 500mg once daily for 2-7 days 1g single dose 1g single dose or 500mg once on day 1 and 250mg once daily for next 2 days 500mg thrice weekly for 3 months
