THERESIA APSARI DEWI. Faktor-Faktor yang berhubungan dengan Pemberian ASI Eksklusif di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Tanah Abang Periode 3 Agustus 2012 3 September 2012. Dibimbing oleh dr. RATNA INDRAWATI, M.Kes dan dr. H. CHAIRUNAN HASBULLAH, MARS. Air susu ibu (ASI) adalah makanan terbaik dan alamiah bagi bayi karena mengandung semua bahan yang diperlukan oleh bayi. Pemberian ASI saja sampai bayi berumur enam bulan disebut dengan ASI Eksklusif. Selanjutnya ASI diteruskan hingga anak berusia dua tahun. Pemberian ASI ekslusif sehingga 6 bulan pertama kehidupan merupakan suatu misi primer dalam program kesehatan masyarakat sedunia yang direkomendasikan oleh World Health Organisation (WHO). Menurut Survei Demografi dan Kesehatan Indonesia (SDKI) tahun 1997 dan 2002, cakupan ASI eksklusif 6 bulan juga menurun dari 42,4% pada tahun 1997 menjadi 39,5% pada tahun 2002. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan pemberian ASI Eksklusif di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Kecamatan Tanah Abang. Metode penelitian menggunakan cross sectional dengan data primer 60 responden yang berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Pada responden dilakukan pengisian kuesioner untuk menilai faktor-faktor yang ada. Dari hasil deskripsi data didapatkan responden berumur 35 tahun sebanyak 49 orang (81,67%). Manajemen laktasi baik sebanyak 47 orang (51,67%). Pengetahuan ibu baik sebanyak 31 orang (51,67%). Sikap ibu baik sebanyak 35 orang (58,33%). Tindakan ibu yang kurang baik (tidak memberikan ASI Eksklusif) sebanyak 40 orang (66,67%). Dari hasil uji Chi-Square terdapat pengaruh yang bermakna antara umur ibu terhadap pemberian ASI Eksklusif p = 0,001 (p < 0,05), uji Chi-Square ada hubungan secara bermakna antara pengetahuan ibu terhadap pemberian ASI Eksklusif p = 0,004 (p < 0,05) sedangkan dengan uji Chi-Square ada hubungan secara bermakna antara sikap ibu terhadap pemberian ASI Eksklusif p=0,003 (p < 0,05). Breastmilk (ASI) is the best and natural food for infants because it contains all the ingredients needed by the baby. Breastfeeding alone until the baby is six months exclusive breastfeeding. Moreover, continued breastfeeding until the child is two years old. Exclusive breastfeeding so that the first 6 months of life is a primary task of public health programs worldwide recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO). According to the Indonesian Demographic and Health Survey 1997 and 2002, coverage of exclusive breastfeeding 6 months also decreased from 42.4% in 1997 to 39.5% in 2002. This study aimed to investigate the factors associated with breastfeeding in the work of Puskesmas Tanah Abang to determine. Method uses cross-sectional study with primary data 60 respondents who participated in this study. In respondent questionnaires to assess factors that exist. From the description of the data obtained from respondents 35 years less than 49 people (81.67%). Good lactation management by 47 people (51.67%). Knowledge of good mothers by 31 people (51.67%).
