Thinking Skills states the following: Critical reflection is a means of focusing our attenton back onto our own experience. Reflection in this context refers to specific kind of mental discipline. It involves clarifying our thinking, deepening understanding and reinforcing learning Task: Students are required to build a weekly journal to document the lessons they have gained from the subject Critical Thinking BCT1024. (Note: lessons are not limited to lectures and tutorials. Lessons can be obtained through many other daily experiences. The purpose of critical reflection is to enhance students experience; to gather insights and identify what these lessons are). Through critical reflection and journaling, students will be able to not only gain knowledge about the subject matter ; but to also apply, synthesize and evaluate the various topics of the subject Critical Thinking (BCT1024) The following set of questions can be useful to guide students to journal their thoughts and experiences. (Students may choose to either use or not use these questions ) This week, I learn/ I discover...................................................
