Hostel Fees for Odd Semester 2013-14 (For II, III, IV year B.Tech, II year PG and PhD Students) 1. Mess advance (for 5 Months) - Rs.10,500.00 2. Establishment Charges - Rs. 3,000.00 3. Room Rent / Electricity/ Water Charges - Rs. 2,500.00 4. Advance for Food Coupons (Festember, Pragyan and Nittfest)- Rs. 1,500.00 -------------------Total fees to be paid without extras - Rs. 17,500.00 5. Advance for Veg. and Non veg Extras (Optional) Total fees to be paid with extras INSTRUCTIONS FOR MODE OF PAYMENT
1. Part payment will not be accepted. 2. Payment shall be made by i - collect through internet banking only. (Procedure for SBI icollect payment is available in the website www.nitt.edu.) 3. Students who received Bank Loan / Scholarship only can submit their Hostel fees through Demand Draft in favour of The Chief Warden, NIT, Trichy payable at Trichy before the stipulated date. 4. Students who are applying for Bank Loan / Scholarship should pay the Hostel fees before the stipulated date. The bank loan / Scholarship amount, subsequently received from Bank / State / Central Governments will be transferred to the students account. 5. Students should deposit i-collect print out and Demand draft in the Hostel office and collect the receipt for the same otherwise the fee amount will not be credited in individuals MIS account.
