In the name of Allah, the Universally Merciful, the Singularly Compassionate
Praise be to Allah who revealed to us:
counselled us:
and commanded us:

and
and warned us:

O Allah, grant me blessed progeny with long lives and excellent characters, and who do good in any given situation. Do not
preoccupy my heartneither with them nor with othersfrom You, O Lord of the worlds!

And

O Allah, bless me in my progeny; protect them from harm; make them obey You; and grant me their filial piety. O Allah,
guide them to You with poles of love and longing, and direct them towards You with faces of nobility and longing, such that
they savour the sweetness of meeting You.
O Allah, imbue their hearts with light and wisdom; make them worthy of all blessings; rectify their affairs and the affairs of
the nation (of Muhammad ) through them; deliver them from all debilities and infirmities; and look towards them with Your
Singular Gaze, with which You watch over Your elite beloveds, at all times.
O Allah, cleanse their hearts from depending on other than You; make them of those who love You and whom You love. O
Allah, make them of those who are fondly remembered here and in the Hereafter; and adorn them with attires of grandeur and
beauty, and robes of luxury.
O Allah, make them of those whose rank You raise for their humble obedience to You; whom You love for their subservience
to Your supreme authority; who You keep in proximity for seeking Your nearness; and whose prayers You answer for ardently
asking of You.
O Allah, lower the necks of their enemies and guard them from immoral acts. O Allah, make them the joy of Your Chosen
Prophet ; bestow upon them great ranks; protect them from all evilduring the day and the night, in the apparent and
hidden; guide them to what You love in them; and forgive them, O All-Forgiving.
O Allah, watch over them with Your Eye (of mercy); support them with Your aid; shield them with Your benevolence and
gracious bestowal; enrich them, by Your bounty, from all other than You; let them not rely on other than You; strengthen them
with the force of love; and quench their thirst with the wine of the Saints, a lofty beverage.
O Allah, make them of those who are protectors of the faith and of those who are engaged in much remembrance of You;
preserve them and treat them with gentleness, O Lord of all domains. May Allah bless our liege-lord Muhammad, his family,
and his companions, and give them peace.
