Comparison of SAP PP vs SAP PP-PI

Does anyone has a reference document, or can direct me to one, that compares these two separate planning methods in SAP? We'll be re-implementing and are looking for a evaluation tool for PP-PI.

Hi, Usually the selection should be driven by the type of industry. I don't remember any comparison document. But except the Process Industry part where external process control system interface is to be done throuhg SAP or use SAP PI sheet, the functionalities are comparable in PP and PP-PI. So, my suggestion is to make decision after understanding the requirements than going for a comparison info. Hope yu find this useful.
