Summary of study: Identifying the competencies possessed by the professional members of the
faculty of Education in the Islamic university from the point of view of their students in accordance
with the quality standards, became extremely important ;because the knowledge of the professional
competencies contribute to the outlining of the faculty members to develop their performance. The
present study reveals the identifying of the professional competencies owned by members of the
faculty of Education in the Islamic university from point of view of their students in accordance with
:the quality standards, through the following questions
What are the professional competencies to be met by a teaching member of the Faculty of .1
?Education, at the Islamic University in the light of quality standards
To what extent does the teaching member in the Faculty of Education, Islamic University apply .2
?competencies in the light of professional standards of quality from the viewpoint of the students
Are the estimates of the students responses of the extent to which students faculty member of the .3
Faculty of Education at the Islamic University apply competencies in the light of professional
standards of quality from the viewpoint of students, differs depending on the variables "sex (male,
.(female), specializing in records (curricula and teaching methods, psychology, master of education
Academic level (II, III, IV), the student specialization (Islamic Studies, Arabic, mathematics, science
.and technology). To achieve this the descriptive analytical approach will be used
The study found the following results: To answer the first question five basic criteria of the
professional competencies possessed by a teaching member of the Faculty of Education, at the
Islamic University in the light of the quality standards "the personal and human relations, the
scientific and professional ability , methods of promotion and motivation, planning and
implementation of a lecture, activate activities and methods of the calendar," and includes and ( 61)
a sub-standard, and by answering the second question appears that the personal and human relations
takes the first place, the scientific and professional ability takes the second place, and through
examination of the variables of the study it became clear that there are no differences in the variable
of sex , specialization and level of the students, but about the lecturer specialization hypothesis ,
there are differences in personal and human relations and activating of activities and methods of
evaluating of the Section lecturer specialization (curricula and teaching methods, psychology) for

the scale of the Department of curriculum and teaching methods of College of Education in the
.Islamic University
