Proposal for Teens With A PURPOSE

Project Teens With A Purpose, motivated by the mission statement by the Wolmers Schools which is to create well-rounded individuals capable of making a contribution to society. This project embodies the spirit of volunteerism. Striving for excellence through service, a motto which members of the group will portray through making a commitment to uplift the less fortunate and youths at risk.

Attainment Targets: Through fundraising, we hope to make a contributions of toiletries, perishable food, clothes to the homeless shelters, while, shedding positive light on our school through posting these events on the schools website. Donation of books to the Wolmers Girls Schools Library; Literature books that were either damaged or were not present in the first place for use by students. Adapt a child, make a change; a one day seminar, where members of the club will visit a chosen Childrens Home, read to them, play games and donate books also. How these objectives will be achieved? These objectives will be achieved through two major fundraisers; the first fundraiser will be a Drama Show entitled On Stage with performances mostly from the members of the schools Drama Club and also from Drama Clubs and Societies from corporate area schools. The venue will be located at the Wolmers Girls Lower School Auditorium. Persons Involved
