During your first tutorial, the following areas will be discussed: see below. You will be given a signed copy of your Student Learning Agreement. You should bring with you (on a memory stick) your Subject Audit action plan and the completed and pre-course tasks. This tutorial sheet will be completed with your tutor but you could draft some preliminary notes beforehand. A copy of the completed tutorial sheet will be returned to you and a copy kept in your file.

Previous Experience NVQ assessor where I taught and assessed health and social Care level 2,3 and 5 and Children and young people workforce Level 2 and 3.I have also worked in a care settings. I have worked as a care support worker for over 8 years and within the sector I worked in 3 nursing homes,2 residential homes and 1 supported living care setting.

Gaps

Need to look at BTEC Health and social Care curriculum. Health and Social care is quite a broad subject so I will need to look at the areas I am more confident in teaching .I have also noticed gaps in that in some colleges there is applied health and Social Care suited for the A level students.
