WHAT IS MESH?

Mesh

free methods are used to establish algebraic governing eqs for the whole domain without using mesh. funda:

Basic

Mesh free methods use a set of nodes scattered within the problem domain as well as set of nodes scattered on the boundaries of domain to represent the problem domain and its boundaries. No need to use meshes or elements for field variable representation hence no need to prescribe the relationship between the nodes.

Minimum

Reqt :

Pre defined mesh is not necessary at least in field variable representation. Ideal Reqt:
No

mesh is necessary at all throughout the process of solving the problem of given arbitrary geometry given by PDEs st to all kinds of BCs.

Requirements of Mfree method:

Mesh

free methods developed so far are not ideal.
