GENERAL RECOMMENDATION For Rose-Marie Brown To Whom It May Concern: I have had the pleasure of having Rose-Marie Brown

as a student in my Dual Enrollment, ENC 1101 and ENC 1102 classes, as well as my advanced Dual Enrollment classes: Approaches to Literature and Introduction to World Literature. Rose-Marie has been, and continues to be, a dedicated student. In order to achieve good grades and admiration, she has demonstrated a continual development in her critical thinking skills and a writing style that has progressed into maturity of expression. She has learned to master analysis of literature with a clear sense of purpose and a growing interest in meaning and content. In fact, I have often watched her read material that she considered beyond her thinking, but, once she started applying her critical thinking, she ended up elucidating the material with acumen. Over the years Ive known Rose-Marie, I have become pleased and impressed with her academic growth. The academics in a Dual Enrollment program are challenging, and Rose-Marie has managed to fulfill all the requirements with a number of added challenges of interpretation and expression when it comes to class discussion. Due to the nature of the class, a student is required to discuss content on a high academic level that adds a great deal of stress to the subject. Rose-Marie, an active student, consistently asks questions that reveal her understanding of the subject. In addition, she has developed a strong sense of confidence that shows an intelligent approach to difficult writing genres. I can depend on her to be an example for other students who need to deal with the same material.. I firmly believe that Rose-Maries classmates and my colleagues hold Rose-Marie in high esteem and would agree with my opinion of her. Consequently, I sincerely recommend Rose-Marie Brown as the ideal candidate for matriculation at your school.
