The Club, i:ndertakes to agree with Pool Operators on the arrangernents necessary for ensuring the eafeiy of Club Swimri-lers at ali titnes when pool hire occurs. Tire club safe\r palicy will follow the WASA safety guidelines. Such agi'eement wiil provide eiiher for the Pool Cperator, or the Cluh itself, ts provide lifeguard cover. The detailed $afety Poiicy thai follows relates to the Club's iife guarding responsibilities but aiso includes genera! guidelines and rules fcr af I Club Swimmers, iearhers, coaches, iifeguards, parents who have defined responsibilities and driii*s which complement anrj reinforce or aid the Club's basic obligations. ACC|DENT/ INCIDENT Reporting and INSTJRANCE The Club will ensure a current and vaiid policy which includes indemnity for Pool Cperators where this is requireci by the ierms of the Hire Agreement. All accidents or incidents will require a report verbally immediately foliowing the occurrence and in writing subsequently from those responsible for group or event in progress at the time of such accidenU incident. This written report must be submitted to the club secretary and the details entered in the log book.

IJPDATING PAUCY

The Club will receive and update this $afety Folicy document as and when required by new circumstances, Pool Cperator requirements or changes to current safety legislaiion.
