The Project
Animated short aiming to be around 1-2 minutes long. Animated short that is making an awareness of extinct wildlife similar to the WWF campaign.

Areas of study
The areas of study in this project will include: Character design Storyboard Animatic and Pre-Vis Character Modelling, Rigging and Skinning Animation

Potential Ideas
Development on preproduction and animation Starting point would be looking at extinct animals between the 17th and the 19th century, and each one would represent land, sea, air and insect. The animals would be simple but art style is influenced by Charley Harper and Eric Carle.

Logline:
Vibrant animals, big and small roamed over the grey world of land, sea and air, however time is running out.

Outcome
For my minor project, I would like to make the animation to visually tell the story itself whilst going along with the music to Camille Saint-Sanss The Carnival of the Animals- Finale piece. I also aim to have the animation create a visual impact within the story.
