International Cooperation 1. Cooperation with ASEAN Countries


Our cooperation programs for ASEAN countries are carried out aiming at development of human resources utilities in of electric power utilities ASEAN industry since fiscal and 1991. us. Cooperation with ASEAN countries is to hold seminar with bilateral cooperation between power several countries We currently conducts the cooperative activities with 6 countries - Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, the Philippines and Vietnam.

2. Technical Cooperation under JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) Programs


We have been performing technical cooperation programs including Group and Country-Focused Training programs of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) since our establishment, 1958.

Under the requests of JICA, we also assist recruitment of JICA Experts and professional members for study teams.

3. Technical Cooperation in Nuclear Power Safety


Cooperation programs in Nuclear Power Generation were launched in fiscal 1985 aims to secure and improve safety of nuclear power generation worldwide. We conduct "International Training Program for Safety Management at Nuclear Power Plant" for China and Vietnam under contract with Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), Japan from fiscal 2006.

4. Studies on Electric Power Situation in Developing Countries


We conduct study works for electric power situation by dispatching study teams to 33 countries/region development

The aim of the studies are analysis of power sector reform, power demand and supply, power electrification. Those findings are used for Japan's international cooperation activities in electric power industry.
