Claire Holladay Multicultural Recipe April 4, 2013 Hamburger Casserole Serves: 10-12 24 ounces tomato sauce 1/2 cup

sour cream 1 (8 ounce) package (1/3 less fat) cream cheese 1 medium onion, chopped fine 1 cup grated cheddar cheese 1 1/2 lbs ground beef 1/4 cup bell pepper, chopped 2 cloves garlic, chopped 1 (8 ounce) package no yokes egg noodles 1 tablespoon sugar Directions: 1. First brown ground beef, bell peppers, and garlic together in a skillet 2. Prepare noodles as directed on package 3. Combine noodles, sugar, and tomato sauce and add to ground beef and stir. 4. Combine sour cream,(1/3 less fat) cream cheese, and chopped onion. 5. Place into a 3-quart casserole dish with layer of noodles then meat, then cheese mixture 6. Add the last of meat and noodle mixture. 7. On top add the package of grated cheese evenly 8. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes

Hamburger Casserole Serves: 40 96 ounces tomato sauce 2 cups sour cream 4 (8 ounce) package (1/3 less fat) cream cheese 4 medium onion, chopped fine 4 cups grated cheddar cheese 6 lbs ground beef 1 cup bell pepper, chopped 8 cloves garlic, chopped 4 (8 ounce) package no yokes noodles 4 tablespoons sugar Equipment changes: 1. Use griddle Use this instead of a skillet because there is 6 lbs. of beef to ground and more area is needed

2. Use stand mixer to combine cheese mixture Use this instead of self-combining or a small mixer to save effort and time

3. Use large stock pot to cook noodles More noodles to cook and a larger pot would be more efficient
