ABSTRACT Efforts to improve speaking skills through cooperative learning model investigation group in class V SDK Karot school

year 2011/2012 Speaking skills is one of the ability to communicate something using the spoken language with tone , intonation and rhythm as well as the selection of the correct words and sentences , so dpat received by the listener nicely . Pemblajaran talk will be meaningful for students if pembelajara materials according to the situation and condition of student environments . By because it's speaking skills students need in practice , AAGR students can communicate well among fellow . Based on the results observasui undertaken in class V SDK Karot school year 2011/2012 on the subject is Indonesian , is found that , in the process of teaching and learning teachers still use conventional cra . This leads to students not trained in developing speaking skills which was in him , so that in commenting on a factual issue , disadvantaged students in menuyampaikan suggestion , to use the language properly yag , appropriate word choice , and sentence polite . The problems discussed in this experiment is whether usability modl pebelajran cooperative group investigation can improve ketermapilan talk in class V SDK Karo . Type peneitian dgunakan is Classroom Action Research ( CAR ) model of Kemmis and Mc . Taggart which consists of 4 stages: planning , action , observation , and efleksi . Student activity data and the data in the teacher's ability to manage the learning obtained by using the observation sheet . Data terhdapa speaking ability of students in teaching material obtained through the assessment process and the test results did learn that at the end of each cycle . data analysis used are qualitative and quantitative data analysis . KKM Indonesian in Karot SDK is 65 . The results showed that the learning outcomes assessment process talk show in the first cycle reaches 52.5 % prosentsae degan achievement of the learning activities are suspended 21 students did not complete . In the second cycle to acquire 95 % of learning is suspension kegatan achievement of 83 students have been thoroughly studied . While the obstacles in the form of lack of available time , a crowded classroom situation , teachers understand the importance of learning kurnag discuss and investigate the use of models is a new group of teachers have been able diatasio well .
