Data Analysis & Application

Type of Data Fact Finding: What facts can you identify from the data? Hypotheses: What hypotheses can you make about each fact? Action Plan: What will you do based on the facts (Just the facts!!! Be specific, include numbers when (Answer the question, what did you do that contributed to and hypotheses you concluded? (Future Tense) possible.) these results?) (Past Tense)

Quantitative Student 15% of students did not meet proficiency by scoring Learning Data a 4 or lower on the assessment.

The 15% of unsuccessful students did not have their instructional needs met. I did not have effective interventions during the lesson to correct misunderstandings and/or confusion. The students who chose a dolphin did not receive adequate resources to complete the assessment with success. Pictures of dolphins in their habitat may not have offered observable animal needs.

I will reteach the 15% of unsuccessful students in a small group during lunch or silent reading time and provide a redo opportunity for the students to enhance their work and show evidence of learning. I will give these students an opportunity to redo the assignment. They can either chose a different animal that was discussed, or if they want to do the dolphin, I will offer additional resources including pictures and video to enhance student learning.
