Graphic tools and the line family

Introduction
This project concerns to the implementation of graphic tools provided by different type s of graphic programs, in order to develop a topic, concept or definition. This work pretends also to design or import images with different colors, perspectives and compositions, and some types like decorative images, organizational images and explanative images.

Objectives
To use graphic tools in order to represent topics, concepts or definitions.

To combine the five basic elments of shape to create meaningful images.


To associate with the line, shape, color, perspective and composition.

Description of the activity


The topic is introduced using an organizational image to explain the sequence of the seasons. Each season is described with a clip Art imported background and the text tool. There were created four scenes to explain this topic. 1) The winter scene was created with the following graphic tools:

Conclusions
Computer graphics education, allow us as teachers, to help our students to gain insight through interaction with the graphic tools, visualization of images, data and simulations; to provide information to others through publications and presentation materials; and to create a medium for creative and artistic expression. I created a project about the seasons of the year, my students will accomplish the signature objectives and also will practice their abilities using graphic tools in the computer programs. The main goal when designing this kind of projects, is to make our students become makers, observers and inquirers.
