Bible: We will talk about Esther. We will talk about how God has a special plan for our lives and how we can be bold in the Lord. Math: We will finish chapter 4 next week and will take our test. Please look for them in your childs folder. The following week we will begin chapter 5 which focuses on counting, reading, and writing numbers 11-20. Social Studies: We will be learning about rules and laws and how they keep us safe. Science: As we continue to learn about the seasons, we will focus on the winter season. We will also discuss thermometers and how we use them to tell if it is cold or hot outside. Reading: We will be reading the story Little Quack. Our comprehension focus will be plot. We will also begin reading Christmas stories. Handwriting We will continue working on first names using upper and lower case letters. We will learn how to write the letters Ww and Yy and will also be reviewing how to write the letters Nn, Ee, and Ss.

Grandparents Day Schedule


12:45: Instrumental prelude Registration for Grandparents begins (enter through the front door #1) Program for Grandparents in the Commons Grandparents will come back to the classroom to for our class presentation and to do projects with their kindergartner (room 217) Dismissal for Kindergartners (all other grades dismiss at 3:25)
