Introduction:
The nature of the job is to Design and developing small Solid Propellant Rockets for Cloud seeding purposes and also Establishing relevant Laboratories for R & D activities.

Accomplishments during this Reporting Period: A) Data collection & Literature survey:
I have visited the following institutions & libraries for data collection 1. DIAT (Defense Institute of Advanced Technology) I have visited their library and collected datas regarding solid propellant selection, Preparation, Analysis and Solid rocket motor design by referred the following books *Solid propellant Rockets Author: Zaehringer *Fundamental aspects of Solid Propellant Rockets Author: Williams F.ABarrere M. *Solid Propellant Rocket Research Author: Summerfield, Martin Also I have taken Xerox copy of book: Solid propellant Rocketszaeringer. 2. IITM (Indian Institute of Tropical Management) Books referred such as *Upper Air instruments *Cloud Physics 3. IMD (Indian Metrological Department) I have met scientist in IMD and I got basic ideas about operation principles of Balloon air instruments.

4. MIT (Madras Institute of Technology, Chennai) *I have visited their Propellant testing lab and I collected lots of information about propellant preparation & testing. *Also I had seen all the equipments used by them.

B) Laboratory Requirements Preparation:

I have prepared required laboratory equipments and Instruments by referred various books, visiting laboratories and from various websites for the following labs 1. Manufacturing lab 2. Propellant testing lab 3. Rocket Static testing lab 4. Design and Drafting lab

C) Contacting Suppliers & Quotation collection:

* I have contacted various suppliers for each lab & collected quotation from them. *And I made comparative statements for each lab

D) Presentations
I have given presentations in the following topics 1. Rockets & Solid rocket Design 2. Solid Propellants I 3. Solid Propellants II 4. Solid Propellants & PERT-CPA
