GVSU Athletic Training Program My clinical duties include performing injury evaluations, assisting in rehabilitation and treatment, and providing first aid care to athletes. Furthermore, I collaborate with my preceptors in any way that I can or that I am asked while also working together with fellow athletic training students. Treated and rehabilitated several chronic injuries including achilles and patellar tendonitis as well as the management of muscle strains. Became proficient in a variety of taping techniques for the ankle, wrist, thumb, and arch. Winter 2013 Observed Emergency Room physicians perform general medical evaluations. Assisted in the reduction of a posterior dislocation of the tibia at the tibiofemoral joint.
