ACTION RESEARCH PROPOSAL Topic: : The effect of reading newspaper in helping Malaysian secondary school students to improve their

vocabulary.

Statement of the Problem

: Most English language teachers in Malaysia having difficulties of students did not understand the instructions given by them because of the students lack of vocabulary especially schools in the suburbs and rural area. Thus, to overcome this issue, enhancing students' vocabulary will help the students to understands the instruction given by the teachers.
