Welcome Back
The Bugscope
Hovercraft project
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Welcome to freshman year Biology! I am as excited as you are, and I cannot wait to show you all the tricks and amazing facts of science life. From cells to insects to "potions" and freaky experiments, we will dive in the astonishing world of every wonder of this planet.
Have you ever wondered how your ladybug friend functions? You will soon find out, in our little scavenger hunt around the high school campus. In this exciting experiment, we will be collecting several insects local to our school, mail them 1000 miles away and have them analyzed by a group of professionals with fascinating microscopic tools.
If you love physics or just want to understand how a vehicle can travel on ground and water at the same time, do not worry, because the hovercraft project will be a fun and exciting experiment. Although we cannot ride our hovercrafts, you will be amazed to observe how little pieces of cardboard can be transformed into a moving vehicle with no more than four wires, two batteries and a simple fan.

With a double major in Biology and Secondary Education, I strive to become a role model and educator to the minds who have yet to be molded. My diverse background allows me to communicate with students in ways that create a better studying environment and lead to overall academic success. Although science is my passion, I love to learn new languages and adapt to other cultures. Born and raised in Romania, I moved to the United States right at the beginning of my high school career; I could say that I have experienced a bit of multiple worlds.
