Brain-based teaching is all about smarter, more purposeful teaching that can reach a greater number of students. It’s not any one single thing you do. It’s more about the on-going, purposeful aggregate of environment, instruction and curriculum strategies that makes it all work.
The purpose of the workshop is to provide educators with knowledge about the new discoveries in brain-based teaching and learning. Specifically, it will provide new insights into how the brain influences behaviors, remembers, and performs all types of educational tasks as the first steps toward improved memory and ultimately better performance. Additionally, the workshop is designed to enable participants to get a better understanding of creative & lateral thinking.
Attending the seminar would benefit college professors, teacher educators, students, researchers, public school teachers, psychologists, curriculum development specialists, resource teachers, and individuals interested in learning and applying the principles of brain-based teaching techniques.
Our college is proud to venture and initiate this small effort of conducting a workshop on identifying the challenges and alternatives in teaching-learning process and to incorporate the brain based techniques in the classroom setting.
