About Me
My name is Mrs. Smith and Im excited to be your childs teacher on this year!! I am a native of Eufaula, AL. I graduated from Troy University, Troy Dothan with my B.S. in Elementary Education. I am currently pursuing my Masters Degree in Elementary Education at Troy University.

Schedule
Please know we would love to have you eat lunch with us at 11:55. Students attend P.E. from 2:20-2:50 each day.

Attendance
It is important for your child to be at school on time . The tardy bell rings at 8:00. We will start work immediately when your child enters the classroom. If your child is absent he/she needs to bring a note within two days. They will be given time to make up his/her work.

Classroom Rules and Procedures

Grades and Assignments

Students will have a homework folder where they can write down daily assignments. Please note that homework is given everyday. Grades are based on the school boards policy. A 100 point scale. 60% are test; 40 % are daily grades There will be some take home projects and rubrics provided to show the criteria that I will be grading on. Please read with your child daily and work on skills at home to help reinforce skills.

Tuesdays Folder
Your child will weekly folder which will consist of papers that the students have completed from the week and that are graded. Please initial the all student work in the folder. On the left side of the folder is the demerit sheet. It will provide your childs conduct from the previous week. Please sign and return the folder on Tuesdays. In each folder you will find a weekly newsletter. Please be aware of all dates and important information within the newsletters.

Snack
Snack is a privilege. Please send healthy snacks.

Incentives
Incentives will be given throughout the year based on behavior, improvement, and academic performance.
