This experiment titled solubility as a function of temperature.

This experiment aims to understand the meaning of a saturated solution, understand price determination of the solubility and the influence of temperature on the solubility of a substance as well as calculate the thermal dissolution of a substance. This experiment requires a main tool test tubes, burettes, thermostat, thermometer and erlenmeyer. the material used is a solution of oxalic acid and later titrated with sodium hydroxide. experiments carried out in two systems, namely the increase in temperature and decrease in temperature. each will be made 4 records with a certain temperature interval. at each temperature taken oxalic acid solution 10 ml, times and titrated with sodium hydroxide. of the volume used solubility can be calculated. then looking at each temperature solubility. then graphed !n " vs 1 # T ate slope is formed $ % & # ', so if ' constant heat dissolving the general ga (delta &) can be determined. heat value of dissolving a substance either decrease or increase in temperature should be the same. but our results show that the difference in temperature rise is *0+0 and the dissolution heat on hot dissolving temperature drop is 1,000. significant results. this can happen one factor is the use of -a.& solution of different bottles. because -a.& is hygroscopic so it is not stable for a long time and the possibility of contamination is quite large.
