    Dear Mr Lowther Thank you for your e-mail of 31 October to the Minister for Disabled People regarding your ongoing concerns about a building planning approval. Ministers receive a large volume of correspondence and they are unable to reply personally on every occasion. We have been asked to respond. I have reviewed your letter of 31 October and your earlier correspondence regarding this matter and note that we replied to you on 2 October explaining that the issues you have raised do not fall within the remit of the Department for Work and Pensions. I am afraid there is nothing further that can be added to that reply. It was also mentioned in that letter that we acknowledged you had followed the correct advice in making a formal complaint and your best course of action was to await the outcome of that.
