The area under the curve is the distance. The y-axis is rate and the x-axis is time. The rate is Kilometers per hour and the time is measured in hours. So when we multiply base by the height the unit of hours cancel out. So the area is in the unit of kilometers.
To find the area there are four methods we can use. We can use LHR, RHR, Mid-point, and Trapezoids. Here I will show you all of them using my route.
