Scene 13- Los Angeles!!! Hooray!

Nope

Scene 14- Bunny won!!!

Hey still no Bird?

Hmmmm again? Yea no

2*(A+B+C+D+E+F+G+H+I) = 3225.61 kilometers

If Turtle did the trip over again, then how far would he have traveled?

Scene 11- Bird all fixed but

now lost for 4 hours

Scene 12- On the E. Coast

of Russia

Oh gosh FINALLY, now I can get moving..wait which way? Oh crud

Wheres Bird?

Scene 9- Burrrrrrr its

cold!

Scene 10- Bird broken down

in the middle of Russia for 6 hours

Aaaaannd ..Im officially stuck

Scene 7- Slow and Steady Wins the race!

Scene 8- Into the Horizon

E. Coast Beach

E. Border of Russia

Los Angeles

It appears to be that the distance from the Eastern Border of Russia to LA, at 323.3 km.

What will be the shortest leg of the

trip (km) for Turtle?

If Turtle did the trip over again, then how far would he have traveled?

Scene 5- How did you find

the distance?

Scene 6- What can we use

to figure out the area?

(A)Trapezoid(30 *(8+6))/2 = 210 km 40 (B)LHR 99 =0(0.2( 2 )(0.2 + 2) + 0))) = 119.6 (C) 60*4=240 km (D)RHR 100 =1(0.01(5(0.01 + 7) + 45))) = 82.525 (E)MP 99 =0(0.07(30.238 (0.07 + 8.035) 8)) = 373.38 (F) 3.3*80 = 264 km 20 (0.04 + 18) (G)RHR 100 =1(0.04 180))) = 80.8 (H) 5*40 = 200km (I)MP 99 =0(0.01(5(0.01 + 26.005) 90))) = 42.5 km

The area under the curve is the distance. The y-axis is rate and the x-axis is time. The rate is Kilometers per hour and the time is measured in hours. So when we multiply base by the height the unit of hours cancel out. So the area is in the unit of kilometers.

Ooohh I get it!

To find the area there are four methods we can use. We can use LHR, RHR, Mid-point, and Trapezoids. Here I will show you all of them using my route.

So to St. Petersburg it will be A+B+C+D=942.98 kilometers.

Waithow do you find the distance?

So in each sigma notation, lets use B for example, there is an upper bound (99), a lower bound (0), and an 40 equation ((0.2( 2 )(0.2 + 2) +
0))). These are the parts to the sigma notation.

Scene 3about this

HAHA Lets stop and think !

Scene 4- Lets make a

graph!

Its Bird!

Turtles Route

How many miles will it be to St. Petersburg following Turtles route?

Scene 1- Last around the

world is a rotten egg!

Scene 2- Full speed ahead!
