Internet can influence in positive or negative ways depending on how students use it. However, Internet can turn into a negative influence if it is only used for leisure activities like playing games or chatting rather than for academic purposes. Hence, with this research, the researchers look for answering the question: How does Internet influence on the Academic Performance of Advanced English II students at Universidad Tecnolgica de El Salvador?

The researchers pretend to achieve the following objective: Identify Internet influences on the academic performance of Advanced English II students at Universidad Tecnolgica de El Salvador. Also, the following questions will guide the research project: In what way does Internet influence on the academic performance of Advanced English II students at UTEC? Does Internet influence positively on the academic performance of Advanced English II students at UTEC? If so What are the positive factors of Internet influence on the academic performance of Advanced English II students at UTEC?
