Rated Jrom 6 to 120 volts, they are designed to give a

life of 5,000 hours or more, and are offered with wire
terminal leads, and slide (PSB), miniature bayonet (N/B),

and Bi-Pin bases. Sinqle sockels wilh round and

rectangular lenses or caps, and a line of pilot housings

The indicator lamps are somewhat shorter in length than

pilot lights and provide slightly less light output with
the same long lite ratings. Rated from 4 to 48 volts and
from 10 ma to 40 ma, they are compatible with todays
solid state circuits. lndicator lamps are available with wire
terminal leads (ES), slide bases (ESB), and Bi-Pin bases.
A line of single and multiple sockets with various caps

3/4 Bi-Pin Lamps are now

available with Printed

Circuit Pin Sockets already installed. Called Pin Socket lamps, they
are soldered to the board with conventional wave or flow soldering

techniques. When the lamp must be replaced, it is simply unplugged,

leaving the gold plated Pin Sockets behind firmly soldered to the PC
board and ready to receive a replacement.
Pin Socket lamps cost only pennies more, and are available with
a wide range of electrical ratings. They can be supplied with the leads
straight or bent at right angles to position the lamp either perpendicular
or parallel to the printed circuit board. The straight pins allow the
lamp base to stand off the board by 3/32" to permit outgassing during
wave soldering, and allow complete cooling when the lamp is operating.

Features
Note the advantages:

! No time consuming desoldering-resoldering cycle with a component shut'down.

tr Replacability without the substantial extra cost of conventional socket installation.
