Bug of the Week

Bible Memory
Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9b
We will have the same verse as last week due to the sn0w days. We will say our verses on Friday this week.

Next Week

Bible: We will be learning about Jonah and the importance of obedience while having a good attitude. Math: We will continue learning about measuring and weighing objects. We will also learn about estimation as well as capacity. Social Studies: We will learn about Martin Luther King Jr. Science: We will be learning how water changes and moves. Reading: We will be reading gingerbread stories this week. We will read The Gingerbread Baby and The Gingerbread Man and compare the two stories. Handwriting We will continue working on first names using upper and lower case letters. We will review how to write the letters we have learned so far.

Other Important Information

We are nearly out of baby wipes and will need several more containers to last us through the rest of the year. If you have not sent in baby wipes yet, please have your child send in 1-2 containers. Thank you! We have finished working in our word books and will keep them at school. We will be completing the back pages and the word books will be sent home at the end of the year.
