Dear Parent, As part of the childrens work on World War Two, a field trip to the Imperial War Museum in Manchester has been arranged for Monday 10th March . It is hoped that the children will gain valuable insights into the affects of war, and use their knowledge from the classroom to get the most of the experience. We will leave school at 9:30 am and will be back by 3:00 p.m.. Entrance to the museum is free, but we have arranged a workshop activity which will incur a charge. The PTA will contribute towards the cost of the transport which will help us to keep the costs down. The cost to you for the trip will be 4.20 (cheques payable to Walton-le-Dale Primary School) The children will need to bring with them a packed lunch. There is a museum shop and we will provide time for the children to have a look around. We ask that your child brings no more than 3.00, as this will be adequate for small souvenirs. Your child will need to wear school uniform.

Yours Sincerely, Mrs. Bell Mr. Reynolds.
