Principals Message
January was a wonderful month! We are so proud of all of our students and praise them for the way they came back from the holidays, ready to get right back to work. This is the time of year, where the learning explodes as students start to really apply all of their thinking and problem solving skills and develop the confidence to take risks in their learning. Please take the opportunity each day to ask your child what they learned today. Our teachers have been hard at work on report cards. We have spent time refining our comments so that they are more meaningful to parents and give a clear picture of your childs progress. Please take the time to sit with your child and go over his/he r report card, paying particular attention to the learning skills on the front page; these are truly the indicators of academic and social success. We are looking forward to our school wide trip to The Snowflake Kingdom next week. We hope some of you will be able to join us on this outdoor adventure! We are hosting our Kindergarten Information Evening on Wednesday, February 12 at 6:30. If you know any families with little ones, coming to school next year, please let them know.
