FARMINGTON WOODS PTA NEEDS LEADERS!

Do you value the work of the Farmington Woods PTA? Would you like to see our mission of helping every child to achieve his or her potential continue for the next school year? The FWES PTA is seeking to fill two important leadership positions and we hope you will take a moment to consider joining us as president or treasurer. With the support of our PTA Board of Directors, we encourage all parents to consider these important leadership positions. The Wake County PTA Council will provide training for new officers in May/June and Summer Leadership Training in August/September. Officers who will serve for the coming fiscal year shall be elected at the March General membership meeting. These officers will assume office on July 1 and serve until the following June 30. Both parenting and PTA leadership require vision, passion, determination, trust and integrity, commitment, emotional intelligence, a positive attitude, flexibility, authenticity, clear and consistent two-way communication, being both directive and collaborative, and the ability to motivate and inspire.1 Involvement in the FWES PTA is one of the best ways you can become involved in your childs education. Your leadership will help provide for the ed ucational needs of every child at our school. We believe your involvement will be effective and personally rewarding.
