Student Grading System - Class Grades Guide (version 1.

2) The Default page allows the user to select a school for a school system, the grade level associated with that school and the teacher who teaches at that grade level. Once these are chosen, the navigation will display. Notice also a School Year drop-down list is available (future enhancements will be applied to make this feature more functional). From this page, users can also click Add/Edit and add, update or remove any teachers from a popup screen.

From the Student Roster page the user can choose the teacher and add, update or remove their students. The teacher in this sense would represent a homeroom teacher or main teacher responsible for teaching multiple subjects to their classroom. (Future enhancement to accommodate multiple teachers per student may or may not be implemented for this project).

From the Student Grades page the user can add, update or delete student grades, assignments or tests for this grading period (up to 6 of each for the grading period) and associate a grade type.

From the Student Report Cards page, the user can choose the student who has accumulated grades, the grading period these grades were reported and the report type. Once these are chosen, if grades are available, they will appear in the page. From here the user can export these to Excel.

From the Teachers page the user can add, update or delete teachers and the grade level they teach. Additionally, the user can choose View Classes button and a popup screen will appear to add, remove or update classes.

The About page is available to give a brief synopsis of the project.

NOTE: The database that accompanies this project does not have all teachers, students or grades setup. Youll see each are at different stages. It is up to the person working with this system to enter all the supporting teachers and their associated classes before being able to enter and view the students, their classes and associated grades.
