The information showed that the member resided in a senior facility and it gave the facilitys address. But, that wasnt exactly the case. Julianne describes her adventure in trying to find the member. ATTEMPT ONE: The address was for a decrepit single-family home. I headed down the long snow-covered drive, rang the doorbell, knocked on the door and tried to call the member. No answer. I got back into my vehicle, temporarily got stuck and finally made it back to the main road. ATTEMPT TWO: I called Katrina for assistance and she began pulling up the local facilities. While she was doing that, I went to a newly opened facility in the area and asked if they had this member. They did not. ATTEMPT THREE: Katrina was able to get the member on the telephone, who was demented. We had a three-way conversation. The member could not tell us his address or any helpful information. All he knew was that he was on the third floor of a senior high rise. Katrina went to work locating high rises in the area. With Katrina still on the phone, I got to the first one. He was not there, but the woman I asked was nice enough to call two of their other high-rise properties in the area. He wasnt at either one. ATTEMPT FOUR: Katrina said We know he is out there and we are going to find him! Once again she got on the phone with the member and asked what he saw when he looked out the window. Among other things, he noted a PNC bank. Katrina located the bank and I thought I might know where the member was. I went to the facility and asked if they had the member. The receptionist stated, Yes, he is on the third floor. SUCCESS: Thanks to teamwork and determination, the visit was completed!
