WEEK TWO 2. Quality time

Nothing says, I love you, like full, undivided attention. Being there for someone. Distractions, postponed dates, or the failure to listen can be especially hurtful. ______________________________________________________________

OUR ADVENTURE: Our Love adventure continues by minimizing the amount of our beloved me time, and focusing our attention onto someone else. Time is a gift that can not be replaced, so why not use it by blessing others with a little one on one time? This could be with a friend, a leader, or a family member. The goal is to make someone feel heard, valued and important, just like God designed us to be. On that note Lets make a it a Date! Me and _________ at___________ on ___________ at__________! ________________________________________________________

One on one time with God:

James 4:8
Draw near to God and he will draw near to you

Isaiah 65:24
Before they call I will answer. While they are yet speaking I will hear.

Deuteronomy 6:5
You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your might.

Zephaniah 3:17
The Lord your God is in your midst,: he will rejoice over you with gladness: he will quiet you by his love: he will exult over you with singing.

Jeremiah 33:3

Call to me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things that you have not known.

WEEK Three 3. Gifts

________________________________________________________ OUR ADVENTURE: Now lets face it, we all love receiving gifts! Who doesnt? It makes us feel special and valued to know that someone thought enough about us, to get us something that we can take and use for our enjoyment! But have you ever heard the saying It is better to give than to receive? I sometimes question if this is just some cheesy quote to make me feel bad or if its actually true? God gave us the ultimate gift so it must be true! He have his son, salvation, and his unending love! Join me at ________________ on ________ at___________ for a White Elephant gift exchange to test this theory! ________________________________________________________

Dont mistake this love language for materialism. Thrive on the love, thoughtfulness, and effort behind the gift. The perfect gift or gesture shows that you are known, you are cared for, and you are prized.
