Reminders
Wednesday, February 12 is Spring Picture Day. Please send in a box to decorate for Valentines Day by Wednesday. If you have any extra boxes that you do not need, please send them in as well. Thanks for your help! We will celebrate Valentines Day th on Friday, February 14 . Kindergarten students will be having Valentines Day craft rotations in lieu of a formal class party. We will be exchanging Valentines if your child would like to bring them.

What Were Learning

Reading: This week we are learning about the letter u. We will read and write words with the short u sound. Language Arts: We are continuing to learn about action words (verbs). We are working on using verbs appropriately in sentences. Math: This week we are practicing writing numbers 10-20. Please review this skill at home. Social Studies: This week we will continue our study of the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics. We will also learn about Valentines Day.
