______ CONFERRING A PLAQUE OF RECOGNITION TO THE GUEST SPEAKER OF BALIK KASAYSAYAN 2012 IN THE PERSON OF DR. NORA LUMBERA MAGNAYE (SPONSORS: HON. JULIAN C. CASAPAO, HON. HERMINIO M. DOLOR and HON. WILLIAM C. ABRAHAN) WHEREAS, this council is cognizant of the presence of distinguished guest during the celebration of this Municipalitys Balik Kasaysayan on February 28, 2013; WHEREAS, the valid guest speaker in the person of Dr. Nora Lumbera Magnaye who hails from Barangay Kumintang Ibaba, Batangas City is now the President of Batangas State University; WHEREAS, Dr. Nora Lumbera Magnaye was not only an academician but also a Doctor of Education in various fields like Mathematics,Educational Management and Studies in Early Childhood, acquired from dignified institutions in the Philippines like Centro Escolar University and University of the Philippines; WHEREAS, Dr. Nora Lumbera Magnayes excellent well-rounded performance as an academician and Professor has brought honors to all Bauangue os and became a well spring of inspiration to all; WHEREAS, this council and the people of Bauan will be honored to receive a Guest Speaker of that caliber during the celebration of the Balik Kasaysayan 2012 on February 28, 2013 and for such great honor, this council is one and united in conferring a plaque of recognition to Dr. Nora Lumbera Magnaye; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that Draft Resolution No. _______, conferring a plaque of recognition to the guest speaker of Balik Kasaysayan 2013 in the person of Dr. Nora Lumbera Magnaye be approved by the Honorable Members of the Sangguniang Bayan, this municipality.
