Absolute value of numbers of equations have several meaning and most time in mathematical form it means that you would like to put some natural value into positive meaning. Lets show on a particular example. We have two directions in Cartesium coordination system:

We see on the picture above that direction a has two in this peace indentical directions. Both directions a and a are the same value, except one has negative mark. But in absolute value we put negative value into special bracket that alows us to make a negative form of a number into positive one.

So number in absolute bracket can have three possible values: +x x>0 |X|= 0 where x=0 -x x<0

So if you have : |-x| = |x| see the change in positive value If you have two numbers |xy|=|x| |y| And if you have a fraction | x/y| = |x|/|y|

There are some unequalities with values in brackets like these ones: |x| a -a x a, |x-b| a b-a x b+a.
