Bible Memory
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23

Next Week

Bible: In Bible we will talk about the story of the Good Samaritan and will focus on the importance of being kind to all people, no matter what they look like. Math: We will finish our math unit about time and money and will take the test. Please look for these in your childs folder. We will also begin Chapter 8 which focuses on shapes, solids, and fractions. Science: We will continue to talk about the seasons. Social Studies: We will discuss the rights and responsibilities of citizens and will also discuss different ways that citizens can help their communities. Reading: We will be reading the story My Lucky Day. We will also be reading different versions of The Three Little Pigs and will compare and contrast them. Handwriting We will be reviewing how to write the slanted letters b, d, p, and q. We will continue to practice writing our last names. Please also be working on this at home with your child.

Other Important Information


Our field trip to deliver the bears is scheduled for March 18. Drivers will need to be here by 10:15 am and we will return around 11:45 am. Please continue to work with your child on sorting and identifying coins. Your child will be taking home a mitten retelling craft either today or next week. Please have them retell the story of The Mitten to you at home.
